Inonizing fans used to achieve a longer active antistatic range

Ionizing Fans

Ionizing fans are used to achieve a longer active range for the ionized than what is possible with ordinary antistatic bars of blowing bars and nozzles.

When using anionized air fan the air flow will be less well defined compared to equipment blowing with compressed air but it can cover a larger surface. Fans are available for 230V AC or 12V DC. The fan of 230V emits a larger quantity of air and can be equipped with a filter, while the 12V fan is slightly more compact and has a lower price. Both types are built in a modular system in lengths from 400 mm to 2800 mm.

The ionizing fan IFAC11 is used together with the power unit PUAC114 and is intended for discharging static electricity where it is difficult to install the antistatic bars in series ABAC close enough to the objects.

The ionizing fan is very robust and made of stainless steel sheet modules with endplates of aluminium which are also used for mounting against machines, walls, etc.

The ionizing fan
IFAC11 is particulary well suited for use with porous or three-dimensional objects such as glass fibers, textile, PET-bottles, conveyors, unwinds and rewinds, nylon sievves etc. The vital components are the antistatic bars ABAC11 which are mounted in the endplates. The fans are equipped with fan guards and filter holders containing a polyester filter. The ionizing fan is cost effective way of transporting ionized air from the bars up to 0.5 to 2 meters distance from the object.
The ionizing fan is supplied completely with antistatic bars ABAC11, mains lead and mounting bolts in lengths from 400 to 2400 mm.

Parallell mounting is possible. The air flow from a single module of 400 mm with a 12 VDC fan is 180 cm/ hour. The fan can in many applications be att more economical choice than the blowing antistatic bar due to the cost of compressed air.

The ionizing fan IFAC21 is a used together with the high voltage transformer PUAC114 and is intended for discharging static electricity where it is difficult to install the antistatic bars of the ABAC-series close enough to the objects .

The ionizing fan is sturdy and made of stainless steel sheet in 400mm modules with aluminium endplates which are also used for mounting against machines and walls.

IFAC21 is particularly well suited for use with porous or three-dimensional objects such as glass fibres, textile, PET-bottles, conveyors, unwinds and rewinds, nylon sieves etc. The vital components are the antistatic bars ABAC11 which are mounted in the endplates. The ionizing fan IFAC21 has fans with motors that connect to 230 VAC. Fans are equipped with fan guards and filter holders containing a polyester filter. IFAC21 is a cost effective way of transporting ionized air from the bars up till 0,5 to 2m distance from the object . The The ionizing fan IFAC21 is supplied completely equipped with antistatic bars ABAC11, mains lead and mounting bolts in lengths from 400 to 2400mm .

Parallel mounting is possible. The free flowing air from one 400mm module is in the 230 VAC -version: 300 cm /hour. All fans are with long life slide bearings but can be offered with ball bearings. The fan can in many applications be a more economical choice than the blowing antistatic bar due to the cost of compressed air.
